HOST YOUR EVENT AT THE FARM

Our farm is more than just a place to grow, it’s a place to gather. From private group gatherings, reunions, work parties, birthday parties, rehearsal dinners, baby showers, and social events, make your next private event one that your guests will enjoy and remember for years to come! 


Located in the rural DeWitt County countryside, our farm setting and sunset views from our red barn, offer a one-of-kind, outdoor venue for your next special occasion. Our farm venue is easily accessible from Springfield, Bloomington, Decatur, and Champaign.


Our red barn can accommodate gatherings from 18 to 72 people. No matter what you have in mind, we would be delighted to partner with you for your next event. Please contact us for other outdoor options and fees for smaller or larger groups.


Please review the following details to help you with planning your event with us:


Facility and Fees

  • Our red barn rentals are available from late June to late August & until mid October. No rentals are allowed in the month of September. 

  • The fee for renting our red barn is $200 for up to 4 hours.

  • Rental fee does not include use of tables, chairs, or linens. Additional items available for rental are included below.

  • 50% of the rental fee is due at booking. A rental contract will be provided and must be signed and returned at time of booking.

  • Remainder must be paid 30 days prior to your event.

  • We accept credit card and check payments. 

  • A “Clean-Up” deposit of $50 is required at time of final payment and will be returned if venue and grounds are left clean and damage free.

  • Farm tours are not included in the rental fee and must be arranged separately.

  • Outdoor porta potties and handwashing stations are included in the rental fee.

Event Day & Setup

  • Events during our closed days (Monday-Thursday) can start any time before 10pm. 

  • Events that occur during our open days (Friday-Sunday), cannot start until 6pm. 

  • All events must conclude by 10pm.

  • You may access the space on an agreed upon timeframe for set up, usually the day before but dependent on availability. 

  • If your event is during our open days, we will close the red barn to the public the day of your event. Please know that during those days, a white tent will be set up outside the Red Barn and will not be taken down for your event – however we will tear down anything we may have set up under the tent. The reason for the tent is because our farmstand is located in the red barn and the tent serves as a temporary farmstand during the day of your event.

  • After each event, our property should be left exactly as it was found.

  • Any food served at an event must be provided by a licensed caterer. We can provide caterer recommendations at request.

  • Guests must remain in rented area only unless a tour and other accommodations are arranged in advance.

  • Rounds of 6 - $3.00/table (up to 12 tables) 

  • Natural wood folding chairs - $1.00/chair (up to 72 chairs)

  • 6’ Banquet tables - $3.00/table (up to 6 tables)

  • White table lines - $5.00/linen (to cover all available tables listed above)

  • Cloth napkins (limited color options available) - $.50/napkin

  • 2.5 Gallon glass drink dispensers - $5.00/dispenser (up to 6 dispensers)

  • 4 Piece flatware - $1.00/ per set (up to 72 with access to extra sets)

  • Please inquire about additional serving and décor items available to rent per request.
