FARM TOURS
FROM LATE JUNE TO OCTOBER
Our farm has become a popular destination for groups of all ages who want to see first-hand how we grow our crops. Our guided educational tours provide a transparent, behind the scenes experience of a working farm. When you visit us, we want your group to have fun, but our greatest hope is that you will leave with a deeper understanding and appreciation of the science, labor, and love behind farming. We welcome any size group, large or small, and each experience is customized for each group’s interests and learning objectives.
Guided tours are conducted late June through the end of August. We are no longer able to accommodate guided tour groups in the month of September. Please see available tour days below. All guided tours must be booked in advance.
We have a completely transparent farm operation and believe in an open farm gate policy. Individuals and small groups are welcome to walk around our farm for self-guided tours during our open hours.
Guided Tour Days
Tours will be offered Tuesdays through Fridays. No tours will be offered on Mondays or Tuesdays, and Saturdays or Sundays.
Tour Logistics
Guided tours last 45-60 minutes depending on the size of your group.
Dress Attire
Please be prepared to walk around the farm; comfortable closed-toed shoes are advised. Please dress appropriately for the weather. If it is raining (or has rained recently), you should expect mud. Also, we have bees on the farm to pollinate our crops. We mention this so if anyone has severe allergic reactions to stings they are advised to bring their allergy medication.
Weather Policy
Because of our full calendar of events, we cannot guarantee that events agreed upon in advance will be reschedule when adverse weather arises. If we are required to cancel due to a severe/hazardous weather event, we will make every effort to notify you in advance by any means we feel fit.
Attendee Safety
Please remember our farm is a working farm. We have taken every precaution to ensure the safety of all of our visitors.
